After banking here for more than 10 yrs the incompetency of the employees shows brightly. I went in to move money around in my accounts I was told my account would be frozen because my ID had expired. I had my passport and not only was it not good enough as an ID. But The inadequate person helping me had no knowledge of how to read a foreigner passport date to the point she insinuated it wasn't real. She was extremely rude speaking to a Felicia over the phone about me and asking her how to do her job because clearly she co... read more

We apologize for your past experience. We only ask that even when a mistake is made or a missed opportunity of service occurs, we refrain from name calling. We can have honest conversations as adults without demeaning each other and can find amicable ways to resolve any challenge. We would ask for the same respect that you would want from our team members.
Applied online...no problem until at the end of the process had to fill out security questions. Unfortunately, due to an internal problem in the Austin Telco system, they could not verify my identify online. So they said to go to a branch and show ID. I did that. They refused to open the account. They said, a mere 5 feet away behind the teller glass, that they could not confirm my identity. Business response:
We made a mistake and missed an opportunity with you in the past. We appreciate your candor and apologize for how we handled this matter. Thank you for your initial trust and we would welcome the opportunity to earn back both moving forward.

When you use the ATM it displays your name in really huge letters, but, whatever, some people like that kind of fanfare. Cons: Austin Telco is trapped in a space-time continuum looping between 2001 and 2005. You can't do simple things like change your password on the mobile app. Also, when you call them you can hear the operator working a switchboard-like thing, while telling you that the only way to do all ki... read more

We've grown and evolved over the years and appreciate member feedback. We've updated online tools and digital banking and while we fell short in your experience, we would welcome the opportunity to serve you once again. Thank you for your feedback.
First impressions are everything in the customer service world. I walk in, about 1pm, interested in a mortgage from this bank, and after waiting five minutes in the lobby, I am told to leave by Tori the manager and that they were busy and to come back later. Didnt ask for my name number, anything to be able to reach me.There were maybe three others in the lobby. Perhaps it was my attire/work uniform? I guess If you don't have a certain level of "class", they don't expect to profit from your visit. So I took my assets elsewhe... read more
