I'm currently in rehab, and I can’t express enough how impressed I am with the rehab services department here. If you're looking for a place to regain strength, this place is truly exceptional. The staff are incredibly attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that I feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. The food is also delicious, which only adds to the overall experience. Dad was very unhappy with a few nurses and his male PT . He did nothing but complain about how he’s been treated . Also day of discharge nurse did not explain dads meds to me I still don’t know what is what I finally went to his PCP to help. Also his wound care nurses help me with his wounds more then she could. Dad has been so swollen his had low blood pressure there now he’s been home he has been doing great everything looking really good and swelling is down. Even his blood sugar count is good . Avalon care Center was not our first choice but we are very appreciative of the services and care they provided for my mom. My mom loved nurses and especially the Physical Therapy Dept. which covers PT, OT, Speech, Recreational and more. Many thanks to them and the nutritionalist who worked in keeping my mom’s meal appetizing even w the strict diet. She improved physically and became more positive mentally. Many thanks!

Initially, there was a wait when i had to call the nurse's aid; but that improved over time. The nurses, doctors, & everyone at the facility were great in taking care of my needs. They all did an exceptional job & I could not be happier.
