Not being sure about our NYE plans, we made our reservation just a couple of days before, surprised we still get in! Our table was ready, the food was exceptional and service ( Pam ) outstanding!!! It was a fixed special menu which we didn't know before hand, but that added to the excitement of the evening! The only thing we didn't enjoy much was a drift of cool air. Consistently a great experience for our whole family. This is our annual post holiday theater dinner excursion. In our third year, we have had a great experience and service each time. I very much appreciate the willingness to work with us to make the dinner perfect, and they strive each time with a smile.
We selected the seven course dinner with wine pairings. It's the perfect way to go without stressing out about what to order. The food was amazing and the wine was spectacular and paired perfectly with the entrées. Daniel was our waiter and he did a great job. This is a five star restaurant.
I made our Open Table reservation at Bacchus, noting that this was for my mother's 90th birthday. The staff at Bacchus fawned over her, appropriately. They even gave her a birthday note. The service was excellent (Daniel was our main server), as was the food. They have a separate vegetarian menu, which is one of the reasons I chose Bacchus. Their wine list lives up to their name. It is pricey, so it will be only a special occasion restaurant for us, but I can't wait to return.
The food and wine pairing was our reason for returning to Bacchus for a special occasion. The pairing which isn't on the menu is an exceptional experience where the chef, sommelier and serving staff show why Bartolotta is set apart from the rest. The venue is beautiful and very special. Bacchus is great place for a special night out. I had the Comeback Martini before dinner and it was great. Probably more enjoyable in the summertime. Ryane, our waiter was perfection. His timing was perfect and his wine selection/pairing with dinner was spot on. Dining here is just that...a dining experience. It is not "going out to eat" at the Outback. With that said, the conservatory room was a beautiful setting for our special holiday dinner. The only downside was that a group of at least 6, if not more, were seated right next to our table (the room was not full- it was 5:30) and clearly did not understand the etiquette of dining in such a place. No matter what the occasion, this is the best place for it.
Bacchus left no room for criticism in our dining experience. The service was top notch, the food was executed beautifully. I had absolutely no complaints. A fantastic experience and one I'd be delighted to repeat again and again.
