My wife and I had the pleasure of Dining at Bacchus on Valentine's Day. We both ordered off the special holiday menu. We both enjoyed a wonderful crab salad with asparagus and blood orange sauce. This was my third time dining at Bacchus and every experience has been fantastic. My wife and I have decided to make this our annual Valentine's Day plan. The service, from the moment we walked in was great. I requested a little more private spot when I made the reservation and the hostess was happy to accommodate my request. First off, the staff was extremely conscientious and communicated with each other to let our server know (as we just had been seated) that we were celebrating our first Valentine's Day as newlyweds. Secondly, Dan, our server, was also amazing in that he asked what we like, rather than just repeating specials. Plus, he welcomed us to take our time & not rush. Appetizers and dinner were delicious, & the wine selection is amazing. We'll return!
Went here on 2/13 to celebrate Valentine's Day, and we will definitely find any excuse to go back. Every single thing we ordered was delicious, and they have a very nice vegetarian menu (you will need to ask them to give you that menu instead of the regular menu when you are seated). Typical Bartolotta's quality. Intimate ambiance and Service was fantastic. Great date night destination. Nice options on the menu for everyone. Braised short rib was fantastic. The Scallop's with the pork belly was a decent dish but I found myself wanting any other pairing than the pork belly with my scallops -- A bit of a miss in my opinion. Bacchus is my wife and my favorite restaurant and never disappoints. This past time was no different. The service was impeccable and the Porterhouse for Two was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place.
Not bad by any means, but I wasn't blown away at $240 for 2 people. Service was great, very friendly, prompt, knowledgeable. Dan and front server (Curt?) gave great service on my bday. Brian at the door was very welcoming. Food was just ok, I really expected more. I would go back, but only cuz I believe in trying everything twice.
