We have eaten in many fine dining restaurants and our meal at Bacchus was very near the top. The service was excellent, the room beautiful and the food superb. And to top it off, a bargain. We will be there again and will be trying all the Bartolotta restaurants. One of the most enjoyable meals we have ever had, and I am very picky.

We had a lovely time. The only thing I'd complain about is the lamb chops which seemed too charred. The service was great, the atmosphere was very pleasant.

Bacchus is a great choice for a special occasion (think anniversary). Wonderful ambiance coupled with outstanding food and service. However, on street parking can be an issue — because of COVID, valet is not available.
The new decor at Bacchus is light and airy. Tables are generously spaced and occupancy is kept to a level that staff can service efficiently. Wonderful menu and great service. We were very pleased with our experience.
Was an outstanding visit, it was very empty as we went mid week, but food was fantastic!
For my money, it’s the best top tier restaurant in Milwaukee. We go to Bacchus on very special occasions…anniversaries, birthdays, etc. Never disappointed. Only reason for an imperfect rating? One entree of clams/mussels was a little ‘sandy’ . We mentioned it to one of the waitstaff and he was horrified. This is one of the best places to go in SE Wisconsin if a high-level dinner is what you’re seeking. Simply cannot go wrong.
