I had an extremely frustrating experience with [Bail Bond Company Name]. I signed a contract online, expecting that a bail bond would be posted as agreed, but no bail was ever set and no services were provided. I repeatedly requested a copy of my signed contract, but they refused to give it to me, which is not only unprofessional but also a violation of California Insurance Code § 1803. I would definitely not recommend the Bail Hotline Bail bonds!! They operate in a legal gray area. They pretend to help you but really try to squeeze more money out of you. When the DA didn't file the case after several months, the court exonerated the bond. Then when the DA did file, Bail Hotline told me I need to pay the Premium of $12,500 again. When I explained I couldn't, their agent, Miranda, offered a "credit" and asked if I could pay $5000. When I still couldn't pay she suddenly dropped it to $2500. It felt like it... read more

This company is useless! They had me on the hook all day and when I paid and it was time to call the jail they said the bail was higher and they needed 800 more dollars. They are the used car salesman of bail. They asked for co-signer's fb even. And then claimed it was part of the "questionarre" ....they didn't ask me that question so miss me with all of that. I would normally say Bail Hotline is very good value company though there's one rep that keeps calling and while I may add during the time I'm really busy so I'm not wanting to even communicate with the rep though I do so I don't ignore my obligations of payment . Well this rep is starting to intimidate me and I'm scared so if that rep could stop calling because your starting to scare me .

Please stay away from this shady ass place! They will get you in the door and promise you low rates, cheaper prices but don't trust them! I found out they are borderline out of business and trying to get whatever they can while they're still around. Do your research! My bf missed one court date and they canceled his bond, wanted to charge us for it all over again, I heard other companies give you credit for stuff like this , these people are rats! Don't trust them!

These people were rude and not helpfull at all... They put me on hold for over 30 min n kept transferring me to someone else... Then they told me i need to call the jail n talk to them, i did n the told me that theu can post bail now... So i called back n they told me that they were lying n dont know y they would say that..Then the lady was short n rude with me got attitude and then hung upon me.... WORST PLACE EVER. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING THROUGH THEM AT ALL
