Jon was professional from start to finish. We took down a load bearing wall and non load bearing wall to open up more space in my living room and create more natural light. It was done quick and with quality. We also had them lay down wood flooring in place of carpet that was removed. We had staircase put in. Very nice wood with a pretty walnut stain. I will use Jon again when I remodel my kitchen and master bathroom.

We used Balbes Custom Building to update our master bedroom and bath. The workmanship and professionalism of Jon's subcontractors were exemplary. Jon was very responsive to any concerns that came up and communicated the status of every step along the way to completion. We love our new master bedroom and bath! We will definitely use BCB again in our next project.

We have used BCB for a few projects around our 1926 Tudor home. We put a dormer addition with a bath & two bedrooms for my youngest son. It turned out wonderfully and on a timely basis all within our budget. Our last addition was a large patio and outdoor kitchen with custom stone work and many appliances. It is the pride of our home and once again BCB came through with attention to detail, and great follow up making sure we were happy every step of the way. My husband and I interviewed GCs after completing design drawings. Jon stood out immediately as a quick communicator, down to earth and excited about our project. After a couple rounds of bids to get the most accurate budget we happily chose Jon. He is personally involved with the details of the project and communicates with me almost every day. Balbes managed a master suite expansion/renovation project. We interviewed several contractors and selected Balbes because we were most confident that we would be able to work their lead, Jon. John did our addition that was designed for a handicapped person. It was done to our liking. It was amazing how well it turned out. It was almost 1000sq ft. We get such wonderful compliments on the outside design and the inside.. Wonderful job. We loved it so well that we had him do our kitchen. It is so beautiful.. He Is very knowledgeable and knows his stuff..

Stayed on time and on budget. Project flowed very smoothly and the quality of work was excellent. Jon's expertise with permitting and handling inspectors was very helpful. His knowledge of remodeling and how to save cost while promoting energy efficiency is great.
