I did not enjoy my stay at Bayview. The office kept raising the prices and they aren't worth what they are asking. Thin walls, silverfish, and other bugs, and a nasty bully in the front office. The patio was nice but the view consisted of their disgusting pond and straight into someone else's apartment. Shotty work done in the kitchen (including a cabinet put on backward). When we moved in the apartment was disgusting as in worse than a public restroom. Heat, A/C, dishwasher, sink, shower all did not work. It took countless calls to get things fixed and some things never were. There's a ton of fees that weren't discussed and our rent was never the same every month. After moving out and leaving our place the same as we found it we are being contacted by a debt collector for $1200 over preexisting issues with the place. Save yourself the time and headache and stay away.
This has been the worst move-in I've every experienced and I've lived in multiple apartments in the Indianapolis area, all of which have been way cheaper than living here and had better management. Upon move in, the AC wasn't working along with multiple maintenance issues that were not done prior to move in. The compensation I received for it was far less than promised and I would NOT recommend living here at all.
Don't move here unless you don't mind having belongings and/or pets stolen by the staff! I just moved here 5 days ago. I left for work and locked up my dog in the bathroom. I also locked my front door. When I get back home, my front door was still locked but my dog was gone & the bathroom door was wide open. The maintenance men forgot a paper in my apt so i knew they'd been in there. Please do not go here! They seem nice when you tour one but that is not what you get when you get yours. Maintenance takes a month to do anything. Amanda will lie to get you to sign a lease and then make it longer without warning you and try to lie about how to get the special. Very unhappy here! They do not clean before move in and when both my roommate and u got very sick after moving here we asked about the air filter and they had never installed one. Live here now and I cannot wait to move! The management is horrible. The office staff who showed us the apartments quoted us the wrong price (a lower price) than what the apartments were being rented for. Our move in date got pushed back by 2 weeks for cleaning purposes, and they did not offer us another apartment for the inconvenience. The apartments are decent but you can hear every step from upstairs and every phone call from the neighbor next door through the walls.
