Pretty. Everything was really nice, but the pillows. They were lumpy. :-/
Trip to Ferndale Pros: Cleanliness - it is very new and the rooms are nicely appointed. Cons: Better restaurant. I thought it was a rather limited menu and not all that great. Location: Ferndale is close with lots of cute shops and eateries. We went to the cheese factory which was a lot of fun and spent one day in Eureka. Spent two nights at the hotel and completely enjoyed our stay. The room was new, clean and comfortable. All the staff were very professional and friendly and helpful. The restaurant was mediocre at best. Wa... read more
beautiful hill top view this one was the best Indian own hotel i have been at.
Out of town, with a view! Pros: Location, nice room. Cons: Frig and/or microwave in the rooms, as everything seems geared to food and gambling profits... Location: Nearby cheese factory, in addition to items above. Close to Ferndale (Victorian town), Fortuna for food and stores, and a short drive to Avenue of the Giants - not to be missed. Gets crowded and noisy on the weekends, due to casino and riske' live entertainment, which we skipped.
Leisure trip to Redwoods Pros: Location and very quiet even though it was a casino. Restaurant has specials each day. We had a very good prime rib dinner. Special price. Cons: Cant think of anything. Location: Redwoods State Parks and Patricks Point State Park. Hiked to Wedding Rock and watched the seals below. Enjoyed the quiet surroundings. Staff very friendly. Missed the pool and hot tub! Under repairs. Had a very nice trip going thru Redwoods ( Avenue of the giants) Then to Trindad and Patricks Point. Beautiful areas to ... read more
Excellent property Nice property. Very friendly staff. Ample parking in and out. Casino clean, little smoky. Excellent dealers.
A room with a fantastic view ! Pros: Everything from the time I arrived until I departed. Cons: I truly can't think of anything that was not perfect. I was in town to see friends, this hotel was close and I got a great rate so I booked. First let me say that on arriving I was struck by how clean and well maintained. I booked a mountain view on arrival I changed to an ocean view ( skip this step and book the ocean view when making your reservation ) The view is spectacular, mine was south west so I could see Ferndale in the d... read more
Good value for money Booked as ocean view but no ocean view, so be careful when you book.
Great room! We are not gamblers but like to stay in casino hotels because of the large, luxurious rooms, and because there is lower tax. The pool was closed when we were there unfortunately. Breakfast was not included, but we ate in the restaurant twice and the food was very good!
