nice, up to date, clean and friendly Pros: Clean, new, modern and friendly Location: Not sure, just passing thru The facility was very friendly upon our arrival. The room was clean, very up to date with door entry devices, attractive bathroom shower, etc. Food was good in restaurant. Very comfortable place to stay and would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel close to Ferndale, CA Pros: Unlimited bottled water, a fitness room w/tv and stereo, towels available at the pool and the hot tub was nice to enjoy. Cons: Customer Service at the front counter wasn't so friendly, lacked acknowledgement when approaching the counter, one didn't even look at me at all. Location: Located in Loleta, California 10 minutes away from Ferndale, known as the Victorian Village. Convenient location for Eureka and Ferndale. We didn't use the Casino, but the price was so good and the location perfect for our sight seeing. All the good things we had read about the hotel were true and we had no complaints.
Bear River Hotel Pros: Clean and comfortable room. Also a short walk down the hall to the casino and poker room. Cons: Not Applicable Location: Casino in the other end of the building. Passing through on a work assignment and found a reasonably priced hotel in the area. I was really surprised at how nice the amenities in the room was for a casino hotel. Fresh room, no smoke smell, comfy beds. Overall, very nice. I will definitely return next time I'm in the area.
Bear River Casino and Hotel Pros: Size of rooms, wonderful, comfortable beds and very friendly, warm staff. Cons: Pool heater was out but they were fixing when we were there. Location: Close to Redwood Forests, Avenue of Giants, beaches to walk on and lovely little shops in Eureka and Fernwood. Very nice facility, huge rooms, very helpful and friendly staff. Didn't use casino much but what little we did, had good time. On site restaurant has excellent food. Close to sightseeing spots.
Great hotel with a beautiful country view! Pros: I really enjoyed the atmosphere, view and friendly staff. The hotel staff was very friends and helpful! The casino had a terrific bar with a different live band every night that was awesome to dance to! The rooms were very clean, modern and comfortable to stay in! If you staying in the Eureka area this is by far the best hotel to stay in! It is pretty centrally located between Eureka and the small towns surrounding the area. I can't wait till we are able to return.
Affordable luxury Huge room and the breakfast in the restaurant ws excellent. Very reasonably priced.
