We experienced the worst day of a pet owner's life today. And when my regular vet couldn't see my beloved pet, the compassionate and immeasurably kind people at Bentley Animal Hospital were there with open arms and hearts. They told me to come right in, took such good care of us are our pet, and helped us through the painful process the best one could, all things considered. A few weeks ago, my cat was assessed for a new goofball sized lump. The vet suspected mammary cancer. After struggling with the decision as to whether or not undergo surgery, my cat had surgery yesterday. The staff was absolutely outstanding. I am in the medical field and understand the implications of possible cancer and the trauma of surgery. My first visit was unfortunately to have my dog put to sleep. They were very professional and empathetic about our situation. I feel like other places I called before hand were just out to take advantage of my situation financially and because I would have been a new patient. I will definitely be be going back once we get a new fur baby.
By far thee best vet I have ever experienced. I am not rating on kenneling my animals, just their care as vets and staff. Incredible. They continue to impress me; all of the staff and vets! So blessed to have found Bentley in 2019!
I've been taking my 4 dogs here for 3 years. My family and I love Dr. Reiter. He obviously cares about our pets and I feel he treats them as if they were his own. It's very special. He is a very kind and caring person, as is the rest of his staff. Over the last 3 years he has even gotten to know my family, which says a lot.
I've been bringing my dog Bella here since we adopted her in 2008. We've since moved to St. Charles County, and although this hospital is a bit of a hike, we'll continue coming because of how well Dr. VanMeter and the entire staff have always treated us.
I downloaded and set up the yelp app just to leave this review (I'm furious!!). I have taken my puppy here several times and have been ridiculed by staff constantly regarding the care I provide my dog. Im not talking about medical advice I'm talking about the front desk lady making backhanded remarks about my special little guy. Multiple times over the last several months I have received medication and instructions to administer that care for my dog. Horrible customer service. Told me if I didn't bring my dog in, that it was going to be my fault she died. It's been 4 years, she's still alive. Jacking the price up by 3. What the hell keeps you people still in business. Lower than a 3 in reviews. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.
