If your pet is part of the family, please DO NOT take your fur-baby to Bentley Animal Hospital (near 141 & 44). (Note: our dog has been here several times for grooming), we dropped our dog off between 8-9AM as directed. We got a call at 110 requesting that we allow the vet to stitch up our dogs ear. I took my elderly 12 pound dog here because it can be a 2-3 week wait for our real vet. Whom I adore and love (Watson Road Veterinary). Anyway, I should have walked out when they were all butt hurt cuz I didn't get vet records for them. They didn't need them, I was only there to have my dogs heart listened to because I thought i heard weezing and saw shortness of breath. You can do that without vet records. Absolutely ridiculous. Dr. Ryder is the used car salesman of veterinarian. Save money and go elsewhere.

At first, I really enjoyed this vet because of the aesthetics and kind people over the phone. I took my dog in for a yearly visit, which was very expensive but I tried to look past that. They took just a few minutes giving her the shots and pills as well as "assessing" her and were done. They drew blood and caused a giant hematoma on her chest, which at first I was somewhat concerned and emailed them. I still have yet to hear from them and it's been three weeks. I would say only good thing about this place was them finding our rescue dog. But I will not be back! Reasons why. 1. Moving 2. They are so rough with the animals my dog is terrified of the vet there. 3. A ridiculous amount of pills trying to like drug our dog. 4. Didn't even catch my mother-in-law's dogs cancer she had to go to an animal hospital emergency one to find out her dog had cancer and died three days later how does a vet not catch this when they see a dog over three times a year... I really wanted to like them- but they are truly trying to up charge you at every turn...and yes, if you don't do everything they recommend they are going to make you feel like a horrible dog mom. I've been taking my dog here for 2 years but after today's desperate upsell, I'm looking for new vet.

At first when we took our dogs here we really enjoyed this place. It was always a routine visit with slightly expensive office visits but nothing to complain about. Once we needed bigger procedures done like a cleaning or something like that the prices were astronomical. We paid over $1700 for three procedures. It was at that time that we decided we were never taking our dogs back here again. We got a quote after words from another Office who would have done it for less than half. BEWARE! This office will rip you off. We were looking for a vet office that had boarding for our two small dogs. We took them here for their annual check-ups and they ran up an exorbitant bill testing for things that we did not ask for or require. When we discussed the bill with the tech, she said she couldn't do anything about it, only the doctor or the office manager could. I would avoid this vet. We tried to make it work but felt completely taken advantage of financially. We were clients for a little over a year. I noticed the staff was never consistent, seemed like a revolving door. Again, financially the pricing was never consistent with lots of surprises at the end of our visits. Take your hard earned dollar elsewhere.
