When we first brought our dog to Bergen Bark Inn she was her typical "sketchy" self. She was abandoned at a shelter before we adopted her, and she was fearful that we were leaving her. In that fearful state she reacted with the staff by barking and hiding in the corner of her room, shaking and anxious. The staff sat with her to get her comfortable. This place is amazing. I have only good things to say. Our dog spent 10 days at The Bergen BARK Inn while we were in Puerto Rico for a wedding. He had never been boarded before and was 9 so I was worried, but they took amazing care of him and he did great. Sadly he recently passed away (from Gastric dilatation-volvulus, or more commonly known as "bloat"). Bergen BARK Inn sent us the nicest sympathy card.
