Dr. Ayer performed urgent surgery on me when I was unable to move my foot and had severe pain going down the right leg. His calm bedside manner put me at ease. I woke up from surgery pain free and a week later I was able to move my foot. I can’t thank him enough and I would recommend him to anyone!!!

I am very pleased with his professionalism and he finds my jokes to be funny. He has a good team of people working with him. Dr. Ayer is very informative and precise. I feel very comfortable knowing he is in charge of my surgery.

I had 2 MRIs, 2 X-rays, bone density and EMG tests in hand that another neurosurgeon had ordered.. The other neurosurgeon sent me to PT for 2 months and a pain doctor. I did not respond to either. I then went to Dr. Ayre that quickly found my problem. He operated on me and within 24 hours all of my pain was gone, amazing. I am 5 days post op and all I feel is the sting from my incision from my minimally invasive surgery. I needed a forminotomy. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Ayers was straightforward on what he would be doing . Our grandson was on the verge of death,Dr. Ayers did his very best to save him. He checked on him constantly. Answered our questions and was super to our boy. Reassuring to us and Nathan that he would do everything he could to see him through this very scary time for all of us. We are thankful to have him as Nares dr. We thank God for putting him in the right place at the right time for us. God Surly Blessed us with him being in charge.

On Nov. 2nd of 2026 I was operated on for spinal stenosis by DR Ayer. My decision was prompted by a couple of years of treating the crippling symptoms that continued to get worse. I did therapy then pain shots then deciding who I would trust to open up my back to end my pain. When I awoke in recovery I was not in pain but still filled with pain killer. I was released the next day at about noon and was able to walk. I soon switched to Tylenol. Today, no pain at all and am walking easily.
