Dr. Ayer reviewed the MRI with me and took his time, was very patient and answered my questions. Staff was helpful and friendly, too.
The Dr and his staff are fabulous! All my nerve pain is gone!! Dr Ayers listened to me, read my files and then made suggestions for a plan of action!

Good informative appointment
Dr.Ayer is the best neurosurgeon. I researched in the metro area and found two neurosurgeons I would consider. I am so happy I made the best choice. He is so knowledgeable and prepares his staff before each surgery while in the operating room. Kudos to his staff, also!!!
Excellent Neurosurgeon
My back was so bad, and hurt constantly, I was restricted in what I could do. But after Dr. Ayer operated, my pain greatly decreased. Thank you Dr. Ayer. Because another doctor had operated on me, other doctors would not touch my spine.

He will listen, talk to you and explain. He will even calmly listen when you disagree with something. I had a 2 level diskectomy with fusion and I adked how long before I could ride my horse. He said about a year. Well I got upset and explained all the benefits (gentle movement of the horse quietly moving almost every muscle in your body; movement so you don’t stiffen up; and the mental benefits.)
