Going to big boy for a bite to eat is always great. The staff are really friendly and the food is great. I love going to the breakfast buffet on the weekend. I've been going since I was little and the place has always looked the same. The food comes out quick, and it always tastes great. They also have very reasonable prices. If you are looking for a friendly place to eat, then stop by here.
Very nice Diner Style Restaurant. First Time big boy for me as a German. Food was good, people were very nice. Clean restaurant, and the price was very good! Great experience in total!

Located on Columbia Ave in front of Meijer, this Big Boy has been serving food for many years, and I usually go there for a quick breakfast. They have a breakfast buffet for those who wish to over-eat, or you can order off of the menu. The food is usually pretty good, except the last time I visited my bacon and hash-browns were both overcooked. Fortunately, this is not the norm. Overall this place is OK for a quick bite of classic American food. Not great, but not bad either. Friendly service is usually on tap.
It is 4:30 pm and this place looks totally closed. We saw the sign on I94 so we thought we try.

Actually zero!! First of all, we ordered salads that were supposed to have cheese and crutons... I got none of those. then there was a hole in the booth. The walls were weird. And it was kinda dark in there. There were out of lemonade!!! and no salad bar!!! Then we heard a plate drop and break on the floor. I liked that we got to pick our seat. and they only had two flavors of dip in dots!!!! They had toys for the kids meal and the Bosch sticks were good though.
ordered PLAIN hamburger pattie and a bun. And was going to put on my own catsup and mustard!!! The ""'waitress""' couldn't seem to understand what a hamburger pattie is!!! They brought my burger with CHEESE, that I specifically did NOT want, and loaded with whatever they put in a burger. It was disgusting!!! I sent it back when I saw the cheese, but did not realize the other junk was on it. The waitress does not know what a hamburger pattie and bun is!!! This is only the second Big Boy we have ever been to. Both were in Michigan. This one badly needs to be remodeled. It was outdated and felt grungy and the bathroom area felt dirty. There was crumbs in the floor around the soup and salad bar and one of the booths has a ni smoking sign on the back of it like that area use to be the no smoking sectuon. The servers were nice but got our orders wrong and they also use duct tape to fix there seats and the floor definitely hasn't been cleaned in a year or two
