The food was okay and my waiter was okay; yet, I was traveling solo and I had brunch by myself and a my bf over FaceTime. After an hour, someone came to tell me that I was taking too long and this was not a coffee shop. Seriously? Kicking a customer who had two main dishes and was half her cappuccino out? The couple next to me had been there the same amount of time as me and were only drinking coffee and I didn't see anyone kicking them out. The grits are good... But otherwise the food was horrible! RAW pork tenderloin....not medium rare, RAW! When I mentioned it to the waitress all she said was "well that's how we do it here....everything is cured and butchered in house." I don't care....bacon is cured too but I don't eat it raw; I couldn't even cut through my pork with my knife. Nothing offered service wise, charged full price for a meal I didn't even eat. WE WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS HORRIBLE LOW CLASS ESTABLISHMENT.
Roaches everywhere. Management didn't care when I brought it to their attention. No thanks, I don't need the extra protein in my food.
We have been here several times and have had a good experience each time, that is until this evening. We were bringing a friend who was visiting from Europe and wanted to show him something different in Chicago, and different it was. We were seated at our table and the waiter came and took our drink orders. As I approach the front desk, I was told there is a 45 min wait time. In about 20 mins, a group of 7 came in after me and got a table. So I walked up and asked how much longer, I was told no wait if I use the patio. As 4 of us walking towards the patio there is 3 available tables in the dinning area and the entire patio was available. I was not too happy about that.
