They overcharged me and prolonged my cat's pain. When they finally offered a real solution to his illness, they tried overcharging me again. $800 to extract my cat's teeth, and some were already gone. They have a great con going. Check with other veterinarian before you agree with Blair Animal Hospital's recommendation.
Our experience with Blair Animal Hospital is one I would like to forget. I understand you have policies for various reasons, but when another veterinarian office calls you and explains that their vet had a family emergency and could not perform euthanasia on our dog, Wrinkles, then I would think professional courtesy would be part of your policy. If I could give No stars, I would. On the morning of March 3, 2017, my neighbors, Mike and Pam Ergler, and I were going to At Home Veterinary Care to put the Ergler dog, Wrinkles, down. After all testing, Wrinkles had a tumor on his pancreas. He was getting worse each day. On our way to At Home Vet Care, we received a call from Diane, the vet tech at At Home Vet, that Dr. Woodring had a family emergency in the middle of the night and was unable to do the procedure.
