I brought my toy poodle, Anna, for an annual check-up & a heartworm blood test. The 1st tech stuck my poodle 3-4 times & couldn’t get a blood sample. She called in to the exam room a 2nd tech , who stuck my poodle 3-4 times & could not get a blood sample. Finally, they called a 3rd tech & she got the blood sample on 1 needle stick. Then, the Vet said they were out of Heartworm test kits, so if the kits don’t come in the next 2 days, they will have to re-schedule my poodle to come in again for a blood sample!!
