This air bnb is awesome! The hosts were super responsive and kind. The home was beautiful and crystal clean! Great view of the bay, comfortable furniture, big awesome tv’s and aesthetically pleasing decor. Even the appliances match! 100% would stay here again.
The place is very small for more than one person. We shared a queen, but felt small. One side is flush against the wall, which is very inconvenient. The pull out bed was fine for our 16 year old. However, when it’s out the comfortable seating is reduced by 75%. There’s only one other soft chair and that’s a wicker outdoor piece with movable cushions that aren’t very soft. This home was in a nice part of Pacific Beach, just south of La Jolla. The beach was just steps away and it was near most of the happening places on Mission and Garnet. Overall the place was very cool, with great views of the ocean especially from the master bedroom. The rooftop hot tub was great and the kitchen was well appointed with many newer appliances. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! This is why I booked this home! Literally 50 yards from the boardwalk on Mission Beach! Once we parked and unpacked, there was no reason to use our vehicles till we checked out. Everything you need, from Grocery store to Restaurants galore, it’s all within walking distance! Beautiful home both inside and outside areas. Very clean with simple yet elegant decor. The pool and hot tub were great, only downside being that the pool is not heated unless you pay extra fee which is not cheap. However, we visited during a cold snap so the heating feature was a MUST and worth it if you use it a lot during your stay. Kitchen was gorgeous- we cooked in most dinners.
