Boca's food is good - consistently. Unfortunately, service is never more than fair - consistently. We recognize that Sarasota has a lot of culinary competition which creates need for quality servers, but for whatever reason, Boca does not seem to be in the running. The waitstaff cannot answer the most fundamental questions about food preparation and probably because they are assigned too many tables, food delivery is slow and getting a check is a struggle. Delicious shrimp and grits and pizza - nice ambience - but took a very long time for the food to arrive.
Service is friendly and prompt. The menu is imaginative with portions adequate for the price point. The restaurant is well appointed, but very loud and difficult for those who like to converse with friends during dinner. With so many excellent restaurants in our area, there is nothing special about Boca that will bring people back.
Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Sat night crowd and general noise level was louder than I prefer.
We had an amazing experience! From the drinks to the tapas to the main course - it was all excellent. The energy was good and the farm to table food lived up to the hype. We shared mostly smaller dishes and left feeling satisfied and full. The truffle Parmesan fries, sweet potato gnocchi, tuna poke and gazpacho all stood out. My old fashioned was prepared well. Excellent, fresh and healthy food. The butternut squash gnocchi was to die for and very plentiful. Definitely recommend dining there..

Food was very good, fantastic medley of flavors and foods.
Great service, very good mid priced food. I'm a fan of the flatbread. But the noise level is painful.
