Great meal and service. We picked a Sunday evening for this visit, which was much more relaxed and lower volume than the Saturday we had dined prior. Food is really inspired and not run of the mill by any means.
This was our first time visiting Boca, and it won't be the last! Food and service were excellent. The ambiance is urban rustic. Loved everything about the experience, including that they had two New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs by the glass. I thought the food was creative, but accessible, and there was something to please everyone. Highly recommend it for their farm to table freshness.
Had a great dinner with a close friend from Tampa. Everything was great, especially our food choices. Can't wait to come back.
Lively scene, upscale fresh tastes , innovative ingredient pairing, not one disappointment in order... noise level very intense so difficult to have conversations... well worth a return visit!
Our waiter was friendly but not very professional or attentive. The food is fresh but, in light of it being a "fresh" style restaurant, several of the dishes had flour added where is wasn't necessary. The soups all had flour in the base.
A great addition to downtown Sarasota! The food is creative and delicious. It is lively and very busy, especially on the weekend.
Tried Boca for a second time since it seems to be attracting quite a following downtown. The food was better the second time than the first (opening weekend) but we still can't shake the creepiness of harvesting vegetables off of a wall located in the seating area. We observed a woman with long hair at a table that backs right up to the lettuce rack and while I can't say she was leaning back into it, it was literally inches from her head which she kept flipping her hair around.... so umm, No salads for me thank you. Had reservations for 7:30 PM finally seated at 8:10. Noise level upstairs very bad, service was slow, food very good, but very pricey for what you get. Might be good for drinks and appetizers at bar or outside but not for dinner inside. Alley behind the place very filthy and nasty, not very appetizing to walk past before or after dinner!
On our way to the theatre we stopped with friends for dinner. Everything was great, ambiance, our server Joshua, and the food. It was perfect!
