The food was creative and scrumptious! Waitstaff could not have been nicer. The Fried Green Tomatoes alone will bring us back again and again. The atmosphere is super great but the noise can get a little bit overwhelming. Maybe a few sound boards. Regular Manhattan is one of the best I've had. Been there 3 times in the last 3 weeks.
The restaurant is fun and has lots of energy. The claims of local and fresh food drew us in only to be quickly disappointed as the waiter was very unfriendly. We tried to be nice but he would not warm up. The Bibb salad was the only good menu item we ordered. The hamburger was completely unseasoned and lacked any flavor, tasted like Walmart beef. Great hip Place to eat with an eclectic Farm to table menu. The waiter was helpful in choosing the right menu items.
Interesting new place - love the decor, farm to table concept and open air vibe! Food was just ok - meat not cooked as requested, both burger and pork chops undercooked. Hydroponic lettuce salads were fresh and tasty, gazpacho was tangy and refreshing. Like that they serve "staff meal" to customers - eclectic take on chicken pot pie the night we visited - yummy!Management was responsive to our comments. Will give it another try.
Cons: Didn't know what to select from the menu at first - no vegan options. Very noisy. If someone is going to have good conversation with their dinner mates, it is is almost impossible. Pros: Kitchen very amenable to making changes and deletions. Food very flavorful (but, too salty). Some of the food comes from local and nearby sources, although source was not indicated for many things.
Mixed drinks are small and so overpriced. Noise level is super high....They need candles on the table, you can't hardly see to read the menu. Food is fair....very small portions and very high prices. I think that it is just a trendy place. They need more variety on the menu...so limited. The variety of food is so small.. If they do not have more options on the menu, it will be a tourist only place. Locals will not go for such overpriced food.
We have been to Boca four times, three for lunch and once for dinner. We will difinately return for lunch but not for dinner. The noise level is annoying. Our shrimp and grits had wonderful flavor but had too much liquid. We had to ask for spoons in order to eat it. We love the farm to table concept.
Excellent service. Food very tasty. One of the four people food was luke warm.
