The chef and manager were very attentive to our meals and the food was superb (after a minor adjustment). We sat upstairs to try to be in a quieter environment but the entire place is so loud that you are yelling most of the time and repeating yourself. For a date or lively bar scene, it would be great, but not so great for friends just trying to catch up with each other.
Really enjoyed our visit. A little put off by noise level at first but adjusted to it fine. The waiter and food were excellent! Will go back if I ever return to Sarasota.
Everything was perfect. The wait staff was excellent and the food was amazing. One of my best meals ever.
I love the kale caesar with chicken. The last two times I visited, the chicken was not the same. The flavor was gone. Instead of a chicken piece, there were only strips. What happened??? However, the fried green tomatoes, burgers and sandwiches are great.

Boca is a great place for a dinner with friends - bustling and lively. It IS very loud but still worth a visit. It's not fine dining - it's fun dining. Everything we ordered was good, roasted oysters, brussels sprouts, spinach salad, shrimp & grits, the mkt fish. Almost didn't order the shrimp & grits b/c of the smoked cheese but it was subtle and barely noticeable.
I can’t say enough GREAT things about Boca Sarasota!! My husband and I were here to visit the area to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the staff not only took notice but gave us the full red carpet experience from beginning to end. One of our diners didn't find the entrée as described - way too spicy to be enjoyed. The gazpacho that day was too sweet but it was truly desc. The noisy setting upstairs made it difficult to hear.
Great night out. Inside was, at least, energetically loud and in Sarasota that's a good thing.
