A little disappointed. We were seated immediately thanks to our Open Table reservation. There was about a 1 hour wait for walk ins. We sat at our reservation time,7:45 and ordered a glass of wine and our meals, with a specific request to prepare at a slower pace since we really were in no rush and it was our last vacation dinner. Boca is one of my top pick restaurants in Sarasota! I absolutely love the cozy and warm atmosphere, not to mention the food! I tried several different dishes and they all tasted amazing. The food is always so fresh and flavorful. I love the character and authenticity of this place. I would highly recommend Boca for friend get togethers, dates, and casual business lunch/dinner.

went there once before and loved it. this time, not so much. the waiter tried hard, but misheard an order and so for one of us, it created a delay in delivery of their main meal. my gazpacho, not like gazpacho at all, but like a bowl of applesauce in consistency and taste. the noise level was not 'energetic' which is the noise level option above, but very loud. we sat on the 2nd floor, and one other item which everyone at our table remarked about, was the chairs - very uncomfortable metal folding chairs - they should re-thin... read more
Very good food but expensive
Saturday Night in season is not a true barometer to base a review of a "hot" restaurant. However we had dined at Boca previously and the complaint is the same - only this time amplified. The noise level was overpowering. Conversation impossible. Our experienced server was valiantly trying to keep up but the private party of 20 that we were seated next to was straining her considerable talents and patience. Food was fair. Overall it will be a while before we go back. It is, indeed, a popular spot.
