Definitely have the black truffle ricotta ravioli. Crazy good. The service was impeccable.
I have to highlight the service. The maitre de greeted us with - who's birthday is it (i said occasion was birthday on reservation) - and he sat us down stairs where it was "quieter"... then the waiter said "happy birthday "... food was very good (veal chop/lasagna) we had gone to a matinee so didn't need quick service but clearly if u did they can meet that need.
Excellent food and service, not to mention the beautiful atmosphere. We were all thoroughly impressed.
Just after ordering, the restaurant had an "on-site kitchen inspection." This caused a considerable delay in the delivery of our appetizers. We were left to wonder for over 25 minutes before the manager finally came to our table at our request, and explained the reason for the delay. He was very solicitous and accommodated us nicely. More prompt communication, however, could have alleviated our frustration. The food was otherwise good and the service acceptable.
I was a frequent patron of Bond 45 when they were actually on 45th street. Food was great, ambiance and service were also wonderful. I have been to the new location twice. Once before the Pandemic and once after. Not thrilled with the food. And, what the heck, charge for bread?!? Service is still good. Kinda loud. But the food was a disappointment.
Celebrated our Anniversary with the family after seeing a show across the street. Seated quickly and served immediately. Server was helpful and friendly and always available. Dinners were good but nothing ranked as Great. Desserts were delicious.
Wonderful service and gorgeous decor. Right in the theater district and they respect showtimes.
Food was really good. We did the prix fixe menu which we liked very much. There was a constant loud heavy humming sound overhead. When we asked the waiter he said it was coming from the hotel overhead. A bit annoying when chatting with us at the table but we made it through !
The food is always wonderful, and the service always proactive. As soon as I sat down, the server asked if I had a show and when the curtain was, so he could make sure I was on time. A great Theatre District gem!
