Pleasant enough and lots of food Too much in fact Very slow kitchen but pleasant staff Ordered steak frite which was an enormous piece of good steak. The frite were quarters of potato covered with cheese which is not really frite. Couldn’t order plain bread. Only bruschetta which was a meal in itself. Booked table online, arrived early but were seated quickly. First time here and the restaurant has a really nice feel, nice amount of chatter and background music. Drinks and food order taken promptly and 2out of 3 starters came quickly. The meatball starter was tasty if a little lukewarm. Other starter came few mins later and again was bit lukewarm but tasty. Perfect spot for pre or post theater. Great menu!!
The food was good but overpriced. With those prices, bread should be included. I only mention bread because I felt bad that the servers are required to tell all guests that bread is on the menu for purchase. Our server was very nice and attentive. I wished I remembered her name to give her a nice shoutout.
Wonderful food! We dined here the last time we were in NYC and came back. The mushroom ravioli and carbonara are mouth watering!
Great Goodman’s service and location for theater goers.
In the theater district this is a winner-the food is overall delicious and a reasonable value (there were one or two that weren’t great but the three of us were overall very happy with our dinner and the server sent us dessert to share gratis -that doesn’t happen often and it was also delicious!
