Love this restaurant but since I visited last I’ve developed an intolerance to garlic. So many of the selections had garlic so was limited on my choices. The staff was very courteous and did their best to accommodate me. However, it seemed almost everything on the menu contained garlic. Would still recommend Bond 45 but wish they would refine their menu. I’m visiting from Oklahoma and have been to Bond 45 before and will again the next time I’m in NYC.
Bond 45 was the perfect restaurant for our girls’ day out back to Broadway. My friends and I went to see Tina at the Lunt-Fontanne theatre immediately next door. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good. They were very busy for a pre-theatre matinee brunch and perhaps that’s why the meal delivery was a bit slow. However, we enjoyed our time there. We were able to dine leisurely and get to our show with time to spare. A good choice for our back to Broadway plans.
The lasagna in a cast iron skillet was delicious and very filling
Great food. Great service.
The food was a mixed bag of really excellent and really uninspired. The octopus was the former, the carbonara was the latter. I would come back here for the grilled octopus but would probably only stay for drinks and appetizers. I’d go somewhere else for the main course.
A reasonable experience, though the wait time seemed unusual.
Food was good, but pricey. We ordered the grilled octopus as an appetizer, the salad nicoise, lasagna, and lobster pizza. The octopus was delicious and well-prepared. The salad and lasagna were okay. Lasagna was a little dry and burnt on the top. The lobster pizza didn't really have much lobster on it. Service was so-so.
Dinner before a show. Location was great as was the food. Bazini was as good as we have had in Italy. The Italian wedding soup was the best ever. Server was competent and personable. And we departed with plenty of time for the Covid test inspection.
Terrific pre Broadway! So glad to be back!!
