We dined in the late afternoon before going to see Hamilton at the Richard Rodgers Theater across the street from the restaurant. We had a reservation and we seated promptly. The menu is quite limited as is the drink menu. Wines are offered by the glass, bottle or “quart” which tuned out to be 8 oz. (An 8 oz quart?) Our waiter encouraged us to order promptly, warning that entrees would take a half hour or more to come out as the restaurant got busy. You can't get much closer to three major theaters than this! Perfect for pre-theater dining. Excellent menu. Order the special little loaf of bread. Very attentive staff.
Lovely old school place to dine before a show!
Food was ok. Overheard waiters complaining about the guests. Server was disinterested in helping. Ambiance was pretty rough. Italian Restaurant playing “working at the Car Wash” for music. Was hoping for nice pre theater dinner with my daughter. Was just so-so.
The food was tasty, just not hot. It would have been great if the food was served hot.
Had a nice brunch here. Very good service - all staff seemed to be happy, attentive and professional. Stopped in here to have a cocktail at the bar two days before, and was so impressed with the service and quality of the martini that I made brunch reservations while enjoying my cocktail. I’d definitely recommend “Tony Bennett’s Favorite French Toast”! Looking forward to my next visit to NYC so I can have a full dinner here!

We loved the garlic bread, lasagna, and veggie plate with eggplant parmigiana, carrots, and veggie torte on it. The best part was the dessert though. We got the chocolate mousse for two with some cappuccinos and it was easily the best dessert I’ve had all year. The price point on this meal was a good value. It’s directly across the street from the Richard Rogers theater so it’s perfect when you go to see Hamilton.
