Good pre-theatre spot!
We were very impressed walking in and seeing all the delicious goodies including cakes appetizers and everything else right out in front for the public to salivate over. The service was good until the very end when it took 15 minutes to get our piece of cheesecake. I found the portions small for the price but the overall taste of everything was very good. Unsure if we would go back because of the prices versus the portion size.
Recommended by a friend. Reservation honored immediately. Very pleasant surroundings. Food delicious and plated beautifully. Mentioned to waitress than we had a time deadline and service was perfectly timed so we met our goal (Amtrak). Tiramisu highlight of the meal - spectacular!
The only disappointment was that I didn’t remember to ask to be seated downstairs where we have been before and enjoyed the ambiance more.
We have been to Bond 45 many times in the past and loved it. This time I did not find the food the same. The prices were high for what we received. I used to love the lasagna so I ordered it and was disappointed by the salty taste of it. It did not taste like it did previously when you would get it on a large plate. We did get a vegetable appetizer mixture that was delicious.
There were 8 in our party, and ALL were extremely happy with our meal. Our server was excellent, giving us recommendations and answering all questions with patience. Wonderful meal. It’s not always easy to please 8 people. Also unisex bathrooms....so no long line for the ladies’ room.
WE ate there twice over a three day stay in NYC. It was a treat to find such a nice restaurant right across the street from our hotel.
The food was delicious. Our server was incredibly attentive, very detail-oriented and he made it a great night for our large party of 11.
Place is really cool inside and a great location. There is no kids menu although yelp lists them as a kid friendly place. Hosts, waiter, and assistant waiters were all very very good to us. The food quality and presentation was just okay. Several of us got chicken Parmesan - it’s was a huge portion but just okay. The pizza was descent, the salmon was solid.
