Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

This was our second night here, it is very convenient, especially on a rainy night. We both got the lasagna and it was amazing. We also shared a small Caesar salad which was a little heavily dressed but was good. Our waiter was not as attentive as I would have liked. I asked for ice for my water when I ordered it and he brought room temp water, I asked for a glass of ice again when I saw him and it came, but was not offered additional ice with refills with room temp water.
We truly enjoyed our diner. I had the ravioli, it was good, but a little mild flavored. Hubby had the lasagna, it was amazing. The focaccia bread is really nice. Our server brought out a tray of warm chocolate chip cookies and they were amazing.
The food, service and location were great for a night at the theater.
Every time I go to Bond 45 the hosts are particularly gracious. The food is always good. They accommodate time constraints and I would highly recommend it as a pre- theatre joint - or in my case a between matinee and evening show treat.

Bond 45 has become my go-to favorite restaurant when dining before a show, whether it's a Sunday brunch or pre-theater dinner. The staff is always lovely, the restaurant has a perfect classic New York restaurant vibe and the food is always delicious. Great cocktails to boot and always in and out in time for the show. Love this restaurant.
