I tried to bring a poor, 5 lb dog in here on my way to a 9 o'clock appointment. The poor small dog and I were both soaked from the rain storm. They tried to say I could only come in at noon - I ended up going to a different Vet Hospital. I was so upset for this poor half blind dog, I offered to pay them to board him until their noon appt just to see if he was chipped to find his owner and they said no.

Dear Dr. Benson: Recently I brought my dog into this Clinic to be treated for a severe cough. I had Dr. Benson, Owner as my vet for a number of years and he was great. However, my recent visit with this clinic and staff was horrible. My dog was quite ill and was seen by Dr. Albert. He told me he was going to give my dog a liquid medicine for her severe cough. I went to this clinic because our vet, Dr Joe Sipe, left the practice we were with (Lucerne in Dedham). Dr Sipe had been and is a wonderful, thoughtful, kind, caring, bright vet. Having said that, I do not like this practice at all. The staff are a bit indifferent. My dog had Chiropractic care with Dr Benson (Dr Sipe doesn't do Chiropractic) and screamed the whole time.....and he's had Chiropractic care by 2 other vets in the past and never, ever screamed like that. I have been a client of Dr Albert for over 4 years and found him to be a very good vet but I will be transferring all of my pets to Veazie vet. The several times I have needed a quick visit to vet they have refused to see my dog and suggested emergency services which cost me quite a bit of money. This is during office hours when I called and asked about seeing my dog that afternoon or the next morning because she had something in her paw. Second the office atmosphere is cold and uncaring. We've been clients of Broadway Vet for approximately 13 years now and we've always had nothing but good things to say about them and Dr. Benson. We have referred family and many friends there over the years. However, lately we've noticed that they've been going steadily downhill and seem to care more about the almighty dollar than they do about their clients and their pets.
