I really appreciate that The Brooklyn Diner always honor any request that I make when I make a reservation. I brought two people who had never been and now they are also fans of The Perfect Plate! It’s pricey, especially if you add a protein — but that’s my only complaint…it’s ‘almost’ perfect otherwise! I prefer the daytime wait staff, they’re slightly more attentive but overall, the entire staff are so helpful and were able to get us whatever we needed. The great thing is that they take reservations on Open Table. It’s clean, it has a good diner type menu and it’s convenient to the theatres. It was my first visit there but I’ll be going again. If you want to eat something fairly simple and be able to talk to your companions, it’s great.
Staff was super nice and friendly. I ordered a bagel with whitefish salad. Bagel was stale with no flavor. Although my friend's French fries were quite delish. We were in a rush to catch a show or else I would have gotten something else.
Courteous friendly staff and was served good food. A pleasant experience.
Always the best breakfast and service in the city!!! Hands down!!! Tell me something that’s better than the Tony Bennett or the pastrami hash and I’ll buy you one!!!

I love Brooklyn Diner. They are always attentive and friendly. Last night when we only had an hour for dinner, they got us out on time, even though they were quite busy. I had the fish and chips, which is my go-to. I also had a side of kugel, my favorite dish at the restaurant usually, but it was off last night. If I had had more time I would have asked what was up but we were really in a rush. Hey, these things happen, maybe the regular kugel cook was out. I'll certainly be back and I'll try it again!
