This is the 2nd time we’ve eaten at the Brooklyn Diner and I would definitely recommend it. The food is delicious and the service is good. My only complaint is that the wait staff can be a bit intrusive and will want to clear your plate before you’re finished eating. It got to be a little annoying and I had to say to the waiter that we were good and that we’d let him know when we were finished.
Great food. Great waiter . Clean bathrooms .. No extra fee for using charge cards. Reasonable tip recommendation. Anxious to go back.
This place is perfect for a pre-matinee lunch. Be warned: if you order a cookie for your coffee or tea, it's the size of a dinner plate and just delicious!! We love a diner and I think I found our go to place for pre or post theater.
It is an expensive restaurant , but a place that worth to be visited
Best breakfast in the area, bar none. Had the waffles, they were very light and filling at the same time. Staff were all incredibly pleasant, and food came pretty fast. Definitely will be a go to spot for us next time we’re in New York.
I would give BD 5Stars for The Perfect Plate (with Grilled Salmon) except that it’s STILL way too expensive at $33 for a salad!! It’s not really that competitive anymore, as most finer restaurants have adjusted prices. But it is a perfect plate and I can always count on wait staff to be friendly and attentive. I’d come more often and refer more People if I knew they could afford it. Just doesn’t make sense to spend $40-50 with beverage and tip, for an entree salad at a diner.
The ambience was very nice and the food was very good too.
Pleasant breakfast place, not too noisy or crowded. Food good, overpriced like everywhere, but filling, good portions, well prepared, and friendly service. Will definitely return (though I prefer the location on W. 57th, only because you don't have to deal with the traffic and crowds of Times Square.
Good food, excellent service, very friendly waiters. Easy booking.
