The Pastrami Reuben was amazing. I will plan to return here every time I’m in NYC.

We’re fans of The Perfect Plate and Brooklyn Diner did not disappoint — again! It’s Perfect! We had such great service from Ash - he’s just delightful and takes such good care of us! We look forward to our pre-theater lunches and appreciate the personal attention and service.
I loveeee this diner. If I’m in Time Square & need to stop & have their matzo ball soup. Best I ever had!!

Went on a Friday afternoon with a reservation but didn’t need it. Great comfort food served quickly. We had desert and then lingered but they let us sit there. I will be back and I definitely recommend.
The food and service were excellent. I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. My only negative comment is about the bathroom situation for women. There was only one and there was always a long line. There was another bathroom designated as handicap they had locked. Not sure why it was locked. You needed to go to the front of the restaurant to get the key which, for a handicap person, would be onerous. So the hint here is to ask for the key before you go back to the bathroom.
