What a pleasant surprise. I’ve beet going to just a few restaurants in the theater district because most are too touristy and overpriced for mediocre food. Brooklyn Diner was a rare exception. Nice people, good food and relatively reasonable. My 7 year old grandson was especially happy with the black out cake. All in all a pre-theater success.
Always our go-to pre show meal. Love their chicken noodle soup and milkshakes! But everything is great. Good service, quiet, and quick!
I am a former New Yorker, although come back to visit often. How is it I've not only never eaten here, I never even knew it existed! But so happy I found it today (one block away from The Hudson Theatre, where I was seeing Mattress) as it turned out to be one of my favorite dining experiences I've had in Manhattan. Quick meal before a show. Customer service was fantastic. Everyone was terrific.
This is sort of a diner, particularly the decor. Not a huge menu but well Prepared mostly comfort food better than the usual diner fare. Good service and convenience makes it a go to pre-theater choice
Always a favorite stop for breakfast in NYC! Tony Bennett’s French Toast is the best!
We’re in town for a long weekend and came in late one night for a quick dinner. My daughter liked it so much she wanted it for breakfast 2 days later for her birthday.
I miss the fried polenta & GF bread. The omelette was yummy but I’m not a huge fan of their potatoes (my tummy doesn’t really enjoy green peppers☹️). Service is always great but portions are smaller than pre-pandemic…
Service was very attentive and professional… coffee was the best!! A little pricey but nice for a special city visit
