Brown Road Animal Clinic offers a variety of veterinary services for dogs and cats. Dr. Jack Adkins and his associate Dr. Erin McNulty are available by appointment to evaluate and treat your pet. We are located on the southwest corner of Higley Road and Brown Road in Mesa. Dr. Jack Adkins and the staff of Brown Road Animal Clinic have been dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary services to companion animals for over 25 years. The clinic was opened in 1986 by Dr. Adkins. An expansion of the facility in 1993 added a surgery suite, another exam room and an administrative office and expanded the laboratory, reception and storage areas. I recently had to put down my Sasha after 15 years. the staff was professional and empathetic. I most especially appreciated their way of administering the drugs thru a catheter. She had to endure only 1 needle poke and not 2 or 3. Thank you.

We rarely provide reviews (positive or poor), but we just had post this one. Our 8-month-old Sheepadoodle “Cooper” was treated by another provider for a torn dewclaw. Three weeks later it was still not healed, and he reinjured it and it was bleeding again. We could not be seen by his vet for over a week, so a co-worker (friend) referred us to Brown Road Animal clinic. We called and Cooper was seen the same day (that was a huge plus). Beyond getting Cooper in… We absolutely LOVED the staff, the Veterinarian, and the way we (and Cooper) were treated from the very first phone call until Cooper and I walked out the door. We live in Gilbert, but we will be making all our future appointments with Brown Road Animal Clinic.

I keep joking that I wish that Dr. Todd was MY primary care provider. That is how awesome she is. I was super sad to have to do curbside with our new puppy. However, Dr. Todd and her staff erased any anxieties I had. She took the time to answer all my questions and was super informative. The world needs more people like her. Kessler, our puppy, actually gets excited to pay her and her staff a visit. I would recommend this clinic to anyone in the valley. She is worth the drive if you are looking for someone with a true heart for animals and their people ❤️

We have been traveling and our little Havanese was having vomiting and diarrhea for four days. We were worried about her because she also was not eating or drinking much. We had only been in Mesa for about a week. We were able to get her into the clinic on a Monday (MLK) holiday. Dr. Krakoff called us after her physical exam with the findings and a care plan. She then called again after test results back. She was very thorough and caring about our little girl. We definitely will use them in the future if necessary.

It was time for Kalei and Gracie to have their annual exam. Even during a pandemic when things are far from normal, this office runs beautifully. Kalei has some pretty major fear and anxiety issues and quite honestly we were a little concerned about sending her in for her exam while we waited in the truck. Once again, our concerns were completely unfounded. Dr. Adkins called me on my cell phone to let me know that the exam went well and that Kalei was "tolerating him quite nicely." You can't imagine what a relief that was. He had nothing but good things to say about both of our little girls. I can honestly say that though we have had some good veterinarians over the years, Dr. Adkins is second to none! His personality, his compassion, his honesty, his passion for what he does are all beyond compare. He is so caring, so extremely good with the animals he treats. Even the ones that have some pretty big issues! He makes our life with Kalei so much easier with his understanding and caring ways. He does everything in his power to keep from traumatizing her when she needs to be seen and he succeeds every time! It doesn't end with Dr. Adkins. The whole staff at Brown Road Animal Clinic are absolutely awesome. They all do everything in their power to make appointments run smooth and easy. I don't know why anyone would ever even consider taking their "babies" anywhere else. I know we never would. This group is the absolute best!
