I took my golden doodle to get shots for boarding. The vet charged me for an office visit that took less than two minutes and did not even check his eyes. I was stunned.
Brown Road Animal Clinic helped me navigate the death of my Chihuahua mix, Chloe. While I was going through that, my daughter gave us a second chihuahua, Sophie. Sophie has been going to Brown Road for as long as we have owned her. She's had her teeth worked on by Brown Road, which they needed work badly. She recently was sick to her stomach and throwing up for 3 days. Brown Road helped us through that and put her back on the road to health.
Shouldn’t a basic exam include taking the temperature, looking in the ears , feeling around the abdomen area? Those things did not happen.
I have been going to Brown Road for years and they are all wonderful. I have both cats and dogs and have even brought in feral cats to have them spayed or neutered. They give quality and companionate care to everyone.
All of my pets have been treated here. I was a snowbird and it can be stressful to see new doctors. They were recommended by my neighbor and continued for 10 years. Always great care.
We can’t say enough good things about Brown Road Animals Clinic! We have always felt welcome and well taken care of by the staff. Dr. Jack has a passion for helping animals as well as their owners and a compassion that I have never seen. We know there are other veterinarians close to our home, but it is well worth our 30min drive each way to know our animals are loved and cared for and that our feelings matter as well.
Trust, experience, knowledgeable, good listeners, accommodating, friendly, professional, laughter, explains when necessary, down to earth, personable, are all the reasons my husband and I take our dogs and cats to Brown Road Animal Hospital. Love both vets and the entire staff because they are always so helpful and understanding.
I took my pets to this clinic for 14 years until my chewy dog contracted valley fever. Dr zinc was great but unfortunately he left. The couple of time dr mcnulty saw us she was abrupt and not at all friendly. Then dr Adkins saw us. Chewy had a skin lesion which was draining. He had one previously which tested to be from velvet fever and resolved with meds. Dr a wanted to remove surgically for $1000.00. I took chewy to another vet who started him back on valley fever meds and it resolved. Never went back.
I have taken my kitty, "Birdy", to Dr. Jack for 9 years. Birdy and I both agree that Dr. Jack is as good as pet care gets... Anywhere!!
