Proudly occupying the space of the former Greyhound Depot, BRU Burger Bar Evansville is the fifth BRU location for Cunningham Restaurant Group. Bru is an ode to our love... the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can't imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

Not only was the food good, but the service was phenomenal. Our waiters name was Jackson. He asked me if I needed anything else. I said, Yeah. A blanket, I’m freezing. Dude comes back with a blanket!! I’ve never been treated like that!! I mean, WOW!!! I’ve been telling everyone how great this place is!! The onion rings are to die for!!! I left so stuffed I practically had to be rolled out (and I had a mini burger).

Jan. 6, 2018 Arrived around 5:30. Was seated at an elevated table by hostess desk after about an hour wait. They text you when table is ready we never got a text and they don't page. Terrible place to be seated! Cold and shivered through dinner because it was freezing outside and people kept coming in and holding door open bc of the crowd inside. Gorgonberry Pecan salad was great. Stilton blue cheese burger highly recommended!!!
Been twice and both times, excellent food. The burger choices are plentiful and high quality, but THE FRIES! Wow! Some of the best fries ever—ask for some truffle aioli for dipping. Also tried the peach/white chocolate bread pudding—OMG the BEST EVER!!!! Great food and service in a cool building that is beautifully decorated! A great dining experience!
