A charming spot for all ages. Bustling atmosphere and elevated, well-executed takes on well-known dishes.

All the food was good except the veal parm. It was overcooked and tough.

Business response:

We're sorry to hear that the veal parm was a disappointment, Marlene. We'll be sure to share your comments with our kitchen team to help us improve, and we hope to welcome you back for a second chance. Stephanie Holmes - Director of Guest Services, The Fireman Hospitality Group

The restaurant was packed but the service and food were good. We had a reservation and were seated immediately though the booth was a little cramped for space. A cut and dry restaurant standard Italian cuisine . Reminded me of Bond 45 and they are a chain restaurant. This restaurant I believe also is part of a conglomerate. Seemed extremely similar in the food and layout. Overall I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the area for any reason.

Business response:

We appreciate your recommendation, Robert. It's great to hear that you enjoyed your food and received good service. We hope to welcome you back in the future. Stephanie Holmes - Director of Guest Services, The Fireman Hospitality Group

Noise level was very loud, meal of ravioli was stagnant pasta warned by hot gravy, and the seating was on the crack between cushions. Waiters were experienced and very busy.

Business response:

We're sorry to hear that your experience was not more enjoyable, but we appreciate your feedback. We'll be sure to note your comments to help us serve our guests. Stephanie Holmes - Director of Guest Services, The Fireman Hospitality Group

The maître D was fabulous enable to move our reservation up by an hour as our grandchildren were very hungry and we were there. The weight staff was incredibly great. Cannot recommend this more highly.

Business response:

We sincerely value your kind words about our maître D and wait staff. We're glad that we were able to accommodate you and we hope to serve you again in the future. Stephanie Holmes - Director of Guest Services, The Fireman Hospitality Group

Certainly there are newer, trendier Italian restaurants in New York. But Cafe Fiorello has been our go-to for quite some time and particularly for pre-event dining for any Lincoln Center performance. The food is well prepared, cocktails expertly mixed, the service is attentive without being intrusive. Is it crowded? Often. Is it energetic, even noisy. Mmm-hmmm. Should you make a reservation if you can? Definitely. We love dining here and will definitely be back.

Business response:

Thanks, Michael! We're proud to be your go-to for Lincoln Center dining. Your loyalty means everything to us. Stephanie Holmes - Director of Guest Services, The Fireman Hospitality Group
