Blaine and Justin. Thanks for making this an easy process. From the first telephone call, to when it was delivered, it was smooth sailing. They took care of everything. From my first call to the delivery of my car Justin D*** was perfection with customer service. I moved out of the country ahead of my car and he communicated with the family that was watching my car to be sure all was coordinated. My car arrived timely and without a scratch. I had never shipped a car before--let alone across an international border. Blaine walked me through the process verbally--sent me the paperwork, and then patiently answered any questions I had. The car was picked up in Indiana, and delivered to Edmonton 8 days later! My university student son was isolated in Canada due to the corona virus. We were in the US with the border closed. Only practical solution we could come up with was to ship him a car. Excellent customer service from Canadian car shipping. This was my first time shipping a car and I shipped from Austin, TX to Ontario. Blaine (my rep from Canadian car shipping) and I want back and forth 18 times over email since I had SO many questions. Each time, Blaine answered within the house every single time. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Canadian Car Shipping/Easy Auto Ship. My vehicle was delivered four days late, and upon arrival, I discovered serious damage to the factory-installed canvas sunroofresulting in water leaking into the cabin. Instead of taking responsibility, they denied my claim based on an absurd 24-hour reporting rule and a policy exclusion that wrongly categorizes a built-in sunroof as a removable accessory. The vehicle was a 1989 ****** S-cargo, and apparently the top, whether from age or build factors, could not sustain freeway speed winds on the truck. The top was not damaged, it gave way to the winds at a joint.
