When I first started going to Capalina the turn over rate for counselors was astronomical! They didn't offer much help except for giving me methadone. The past few years Capalina has improved immensely! The turn over rate has decreased significantly! They have started offering more help. Just think it's important that the hours are updated. It is no longer closed Sundays. The hours on Sundays are 7am-9:30am. It's not updated on their website either and I scrambled to find a metal lockbox(the rules call for lock boxes to be specifically metal now) only to be looked at like I was crazy when I came in on Saturday with it. I'm getting the best care here. Arione and Bethany are my support system and I'm feeling healthy. Without this clinic, I would've died.

I have to agree with a couple other reviews here. I have been at this clinic for awhile and I have gone through 5 counselors. Low and behold I have been dealing with a new counselor and she is the best I have ever had. Her name is Marie. She speaks the language she actually talks instead of just sitting there like a bump on a log. I honestly see myself doing a lot better since I have had a couple sessions with her. I have been at Capalina for a few years and have had several counselors. I currently have Marie and she is by far the best I've had. Her ability to relate and emphasize with her clients is amazing. She undestands and is compassionate, but is able to keep things professional.

I am writing this to commend my counsellor, Marie Faulkner, who works at Capilina Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment Center. I have been moved around through 6 counselors since I began treatment. I would come in at my allotted appointment time with prior counsellors and I'd be informed that the particular person I had been meeting with 4X a month has either quit their job or I was being "given" to a different person. Horrible. Don't go here, they don't care about anything but money. They are unethical incompetent unprofessional and don't provide anything other than methadone. Counseling sessions are a joke and there is no confidentiality. If you do go here question everything they do and make sure you advocate for yourself because no one there will do it for you and they constantly make mistakes.
