Well, nothing comprehensive about this place at all . With exception of one female nurse who's been there for decades, no one else there seems to have a clue. Frequently blindsided with stuff outta the blue. Scheduled counseling appts changed without any notice. If you're seeking assistance without a major headache. Id suggest SOAP, or Apple Street Clinic. No follow thru Highly disorganized, and unprofessional. Weekend help is a disaster. And One Competent Nurse, not enough to make things work. Front desk help has vanished ... read more
run, don't stop. been in business for year's. worst job ever. people come and go like a revolving door in a department store.. why? the entire place is toxic., they lie to your face while stabbing you in the back. you give 100% of yourself and get back zero respect. no thank anymore. oh ya a billion dollar company takes back your sign on bonus if u quit. well what does that tell u. every one quits. bye,bye
This place saved my life and got my life back on track. Highly recommend it's the most effective way to gain long term stability when dealing with an opiate addiction. Using street opiates is just not worth it anymore this fentanyl is killing so many people. I was in it for 4 years slowly tapering down and I've been sober from opiates for the last 3 years now. Medicated treatment saves lives and works if done properly. It's time to end the stigma of medicated treatment because this shit saves lives and you rather be maintain... read more
I mean, these guys do perform a necessary service. But would I voluntarily go to them? Nah. They take my insurance and a different nearby clinic doesn't. After going to Capalina for six months or so, I opted to go to the other clinic and just pay out of pocket because dealing with the nickel and dime-ing at Capalina just ain't worth it. Plus it's clear you're just a number. And if they owe you money? Lord, they will take as long as humanly possible to get that back to you but will threaten to feetox you if you aren't able to... read more
This place is horrible! I'm really disgusted with Capalina right now. Capalina operates like a legal drug dealer. First, the parking lot constantly has shady people that loiter whom have in the past tried to sell and solicit drugs. It doesn't appear that Capalina is doing anything to solve the problem and this certainly cannot be conducive to recovery of an addict. Further, when a person tries to decrease their dose the doctors and counselors are NOT supportive. They don't encourage going down on your dose, rather they kee... read more
The nurses are great, counselors ok (unless you get Don he is illiterate and will ask you to spell everything and lose your stuff) owners very unprofessional, front staff and billing work together and I've had major issues there. Only pro is that it is right down the street from my apt. Judy is great, Travis is great, Claudia is nice, the black nurse dude has been a life saver when I can't piss. Seek out the people above to assist you on a smooth journey, run into anyone else your liable to be in for a wait especially with t... read more
I've been going here for over a year and I have to say as a whole it's a great place it has granted me my life back but the counseling sector of this establishment is a joke. My counselor don can't even spell simple words like reaction or sobriety and he's a drug counselor blows my mind the man is a nice man with good intentions at heart but he has no business being a counselor he does not possess the basic knowledge that a counselor is supposed have he spends his hour having a social conversation instead of actually address... read more
This place can not and will not keep good help. They actually have a productivity level that each counselor must meet each week and a monthly percentages. IF the counselor does not meet these numbers they fire you. They do not encourage patients to taper off of Methadone at all, and some are on really high doses daily. This place is about making money, not caring for the patients and certainly not the staff. Biggest complaint from the patients is how many different counselors they have had in just 1-2 years.
This clinic has arbitrary and inconsistent rules based on whoever is the acting director -- and this changes constantly, as does the counseling staff. This can be frustrating and confusing for patients causing them to seek out treatment at other clinics.
