My mother doesn't participate in many activities. She is 87. She's in a wheelchair. This is a transition period between home and nursing home. She's been there for about two months. She's also been in August. The staff are very friendly. They answer my questions, and respond to my concerns very quickly. I don't see her much because I don't drive. The facility is not very accessible to people who do not drive because there are no sidewalks - not even for staff working at the place. It is actually dangerous; they have to wa... read more

We have been very pleased with the attentive care provided by Care One. My mother has been in the Skilled Nursing facility for about 7 weeks. The nurses and nurses' aides have been very caring and on top of whatever is going on with my mother. Effort has been made numerous times to find and deliver just the right type of wheel chair that will accommodate her comfort and needs. Since she has Alzheimer's and has great difficulty speaking, my mother cannot communicate her needs well. In a very short time they have been able to... read more

I toured this community when I was looking into options for my loved one. This was a nice looking place, it was clean and well kept, and the staff all seemed very friendly. It wasn't the option we ended up choosing, but overall it looked like they would be able to provide good care and comfortable atmosphere.

My dad was there for a week of respite care. I know these things are expensive but they seem very nice. The woman that I delt with, whose name I can't remember right now, was very helpful. When we first toured there was a certain kind of easy chair that my father liked but when we checked in his room did not have one. Well she and I physically moved a chair from one room to his room. She had a real can-do attitude and I really appreciated that.

DO NOT submit your loved ones to Care One in Livingston! Staff is dismissive of ALL concerns, Food is horrible and full of sugar despite diabetes. Patients are screaming for help, and ignored, day and night. Nurses don't respond for 30 to 60 minutes to requests. Elderly patient (with dementia) was left to lay in diarhea for an hour and given no medication for it because it was on the floor and they needed "a sample." When family complained they tried "corporate smooz." He transfered to another facility!

A friend of mine stayed here for rehab after a heart attack and blood clot issues. They lied about his progress so Medicare wouldn’t extend his stay. He is back in the hospital . Thankfully out of there. Thankfully still alive.

In one word AWFUL. Run far away from this facility. My parent was there years ago. The food was horrible. Taste was tasteless and it looked like diarrhea. We were talked into putting him into their dementia unit promising that he would have better care. He would call for assistance and have to wait sometimes over 30 minutes. Complaints go nowhere. The workers were overworked as CARE NONE did not have adequate staffing. I eventually had to contact the state ombudsman as it got so bad.
