I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Think twice before sending. While some of the staff is professional and helpful, the NIGHT STAFF is awful. Asking our loved one to wear depends because they were ringing for the aides at night to get help going to the bathroom?!?! Why would you feed a high blood pressure patient salt filled food at every meal? Our loved one broke out in a salt rash, been salt free for 12 years?!?!? How come you give NO STRAWS with the drinks on the food tray?? We had to bring in our own st... read more

I visited this facility There is not enough words that, could really describe how horrible this place is there is no care as far as my family and myself saw during my father's short stay.that thankfully landed him in the hospital.which my sister had to have him sent to hospital because they refused and had no idea the ruff shape my dad was in.during a visit witnessed a poor woman screaming for a man to get out of her room and no one helped her,saw a worker just give a look at awomen and say back in your room the women looked... read more

I visited this facility I can see why this facility is called “Care None” by many people. We had to pull my mom out of there as we were seriously concerned that she wouldn’t survive her stay there. There’s not even enough room in this review for me to write about all the grievances we have against them but the few I will mention is how my mother was made to sit for over an hour at a time in her own feces and urine on a bed pan bc the nurses refused to come. Knowing full well she already had a bed sore they would look at her ... read more

I visited this facility This place is called care none for a reason.my father was in this filthy nasty place for wound care which most of the time the care that he received .was the worst that i have seen most of the workers there were horrible to say the least doctors included especially the so called infectious disease doctors. There were maybe two people in the whole building that cared one of those people included the receptionist she was great and one nurse .and that is sad .i feel so sorry for the people that have to l... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident If you have a loved one here - get them out and seek alternative care immediately!! My mother was there for less than a week. She was ignored and neglected and luckily the poor care she received resulted in her being sent to the hospital. There they determined she was dehydrated and malnurished. Despite having suffered a stroke - her blood pressure was sky high! We had been told for the 9 days she was there that she was non-verbal and we could not speak to her. Within 12 h... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident After reading the other reviews, I have to agree that the care was awful, Care One Care None. Some of the nurses and aides would not respond leaving patients that needed assistance waiting sometimes 30 to 40 minutes. If you complained about the treatment then your loved one would be isolated even more. We were full pay .... complaints are patient was never bathed, soiled laundry was placed in plastic bags in closet and never sent to be cleaned, even though menu was filled ... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mother has COPD and was hospitalized at Morristown Medical Center for an exacerbation of her illness. After she was discharged from the hospital we chose to take her home. After three weeks at home we knew something was wrong and I reached out to a transition of care counselor I had met at the hospital. She arranged for Mom to go to Care One on a Friday afternoon. Someone from Care One called me to inquire about Mom's medication list and what she would need while there.... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I would not recommend this place. My father had a leaking catheter and their solution was to place a towel under it. My father would get an infection which would lead to another infection that killed him a week or two later. No doctors are on the premises during weekends or holidays. I asked for a doctor Friday afternoon and was told that I would have to wait until Monday for a doctor to see my father. My father died Sunday evening. When I called Wednesday morning to retri... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident The nurses at Care One at Madison Avenue were very kind and very good. The aides were a bit lazy. I would give them a 1-star rating because my friend had a horrible bed sore. I didn’t think he was rehabilitated very well. The staff was very pleasant and very nice. It was a very pretty place. It was an old house, but very clean. They had a rehab room, a library room, and an activities room.
