Our aunt moved to Care One Moorestown after a difficult and sad experience at another facility in Mt. Laurel, NJ. She is almost 96 years old, is in a wheelchair and has moderate dementia. At the last facility, she was in her room alone all day. Due to her dementia (and her personality), she did not really participate in activities and didn’t even want to go to the dining room for meals. After a short hospital stay the former facility demanded that we pay for a 24/7 aide causing the price of her care to skyrocket, so we decid... read more

Visited this facility last year. Very nice staff. Beautiful quad neighborhoods for memory care component. Feels just a bit institutional though. Didn't notice enough caregiver to resident ratio. Not too bad a facility as second choice for now overall.

I knew an older lady that lived there. It was really beautiful but I didn't like the smell. I'm really sensitive to smell so I wasn't crazy about it because of the smell but it was beautiful and everbody was very nice.

Staff is friendly, room is clean. Food is mediocre. The medical care is lacking.Nurses are LPN and unaware of medical issues. I had to call 911 twice to save my mothers life. She was hospitalized each time for five to seven days. The medical staff was unapologetic and rude. They did not even recognize their own incompetence. If you are fairly healthy with no complications it is a nice place. If there are medical complications good luck.

This was a dissapointment. the receptionist was curt and told us that we would have to wait until the nurse made her rounds even tho we had a scheduled appointment. the tour was not the that informative, the occupants were not engages and we saw a cafeteria attendent with her head down on a table sleeping/resting. picked her head up look at us on the tour and put her head back down. the occupants looked sad and uninvolved in their surroundings.

When shopping for a home for my mother I was told by Lie #1-[name removed], in admissions that CareOne Moorestown was an "age in place" facility. After 2 months I got a call saying they could no longer care for her, she needs to leave. Lie #2- they report to The County Office on Aging that they do not accept Medicaid, but told me they do. Lie #3- [name removed] told me there is a "bed hold rate" if residents have to leave for hospital or rehab stays. This was a reduced rate from the regular rent, separate from personal care ... read more

I personally think the place is one of those that looks fancy on the outside but is a dump with the care, etc on the inside. Go somewhere else

The 1.5 star rating is for the doctors. They are great. The administrative staff and some of the nursing staff, on the other hand... horrible. Dad had to be rushed to the ER a week ago. He was ready to be discharged yesterday to CareOne. I spoke with [name removed] in admissions who confirmed she was holding a bed for dad - promised me to save it until the following day. Once I received the call from [name removed] that dad was ready, I called [name removed]. It took SIX calls before the Receptionist put me through! Each tim... read more

My father was in acute rehab in Care One for a few months..the biggest problem is they are UNDERSTAFFED resulting in NEGLIGENCE! Although the staff is relatively friendly, they are overworked and do not have the adequate time to give each patient timely and appropriate care. Sometimes after hitting the call button my father would have to wait over an hour to be changed, sitting in his own feces. And this is when I was there trying to find help in the hallways! It does no good to bring up your complaints internally because th... read more
