I completed the paperwork on-line before my initial visit. Waiting room time was non-existent - I never had a chance to sit down before being taken back to the exam room, where I waited about three minutes. Dr Capelouto was personable and thorough, taking as much time as needed to understand my situation, come up with a plan to ease the problem, and explaining what we would do going forward as well as the expected outcome and possible side affects. I am very pleased with Dr Capelouto.
Dr. Capelouto is an outstanding and extremely competent physician. He serves his patients as friends with their best interests as his #1 priority. His staff lead by Spring, who is the Office Manager, takes care of the patients like family. Dr. Capelouto's urology and surgery skills are second to none, and Georgia Urology have some of the best and brightest specialized surgeons in the southeast and entire United States. Dr. Capelouto is the physician I want treating my family and myself.
I have been seeing Dr. C. for 13 yrs. I don't live in the Atlanta area anymore but make a 6-hr. drive to still visit him. He is the perfect package of tangibles (skill, knowledge, facilities, staff) and intangibles (personality, bedside manner, body language and speaking in 'layman's terms) to earn my complete trust. Dr. C makes a typically uncomfortable appointment a visit to a trusted friend. If I ever have a major problem it won't be as scary because of the confidence I have in Dr. C.
This was my first visit with Dr. Capelouto. He took the time to get to know me before we discussed the reason for my visit. I recommend Dr. Capelouto and his office staff.
Dr. Capelouto is very professional, knowledgeable and most of all he takes his time to see what's going on. He explains everything before you get started and always has you in the forefront. I will not stop going to him and would recommend him to a family member, friend or anyone who is looking for a urologist.
I have been a patient of Dr. Capelouto for many years. Dr. C is a very knowledgable, professional and stays abreast of the latest treatments related to Urology. Dr. C combines all that knowledge and experience with common sense treatment for his patients. He does not dictate treatment rather he involves his patients in decisions related to their treatment. Dr. C demonstrates a genuine concern for his patients on a personal level. I can and have recommended him to many of my friends.
I have been doctored by Dr. Capelouto for over 10 years. I discovered my prostrate cancer 10 years ago and thoroughly took care of it for me. Now he is monitoring some signs and has not discovered anything that is wrong but I know from past experience that if he wants to have a look it is worth it to me for him to continue to look until he finds the problem.
When I was told in the emergency room that I had kidney cancer, Dr. Capelouto was called in to access my situation. He saw the fear in my eyes and immediately discussed the available options while offering comforting support. He has a warm personality and a great sense of humor. I had the kidney removed, and he has followed my progress for 7 years. Actually, I have recommended this highly competent urologist to family, friends,and friends of friends.
