Wonderful no breakfast, the room was very nice and clean
Good location. Noisy neighbors upstairs LATE at night . Staff not as friendly as we are accustome to in Carmel. Manager informed me after checking in there is no smoking (I knew) and no drinking. This was not mentioned when we booked this hotel.We did not drink,i just thought that was weird.Im almost 70 and on vacation ...REALLY . The card to the rm didn't work most of the time . not super happy with this one. Location

Only okay. I would not recommend to others and I didn’t receive value for the cost. Bed was not comfortable. Property was not particularly well maintained. No breakfast was provided; coffee and a granola bar are not acceptably considered breakfast. Room key was difficult and the second day the code was completely changed. No advance charges should have been added to my account in case of possible charges, of which there were none. My credit card is still waiting for a reversal. Clarion @ Carmel I wish the soaps were on the wall like many budget places have now. It's a waste to use so many plastic bottles nowadays. I liked the room.

Nice property in the heart of Carmel. There was nothing not to like. Rooms were adequate. The housekeeper came by to see if we needed anything. Price was a little high for the room we had but you are paying for Carmel. Excellent location for our three nights in Carmel. Also, it had parking which was a big factor for us because we had an early flight out of Monterey.
