I have been going to Cascade Specialty Pharmacy since 2014 and I love the pharmacy. It is a quality pharmacy that has high standards. I have been only happy with the service and medications that I have received. I am heading over tomorrow to pick up my prescription. :) I love that they have two locations, so that there aren't as long lines, since some prescriptions get picked up at one location and others at the other location. Wasn't sure about using a compound, but my doctor converted me to give it a try. Pharmacist met me before my dosage and showed me exactly what and how to do what I needed. I'm now on my 6th prescription and the ladies that work the counter (pharmacist assistants) are absolutely amazing! Not only are they way pleasant, but are also always willing to answer any questions - even the obvious. No idea where the negative reviews are coming from - definitely not my experience!
This used to be a great compound pharmacy. Now you wait 30 mins on the phone (second time just recently) to bounce back and forth from 1 to 2 people ahead of me. Finally drove there before they closed to find the prescription came in. Oh, and yes they know there is a problem with the phone system. Gig Harbor Apothecary has better phone and customer service.
First, the customer service is not friendly. but that's nothing. My husband came in to pick up a new prescription for me. No one explained to him how to use the device it was in, thus when I tried to figure out how to use it, I wasted about 2 doses because the device had no instructions. They're expensive. They don't take insurance for what I needed. They are unhelpful.
If I had the option to obtain my medications elsewhere, I would do so without hesitation. Cascade has repeatedly demonstrated a profound level of incompetence, jeopardizing the health of its customers in the process.
