the employees are obviously hourly and not commission. I've been in sales 25 years, I know what good service is. we were in the store 30 minutes before anyone even greeted us. my wife bought boots, shirts and a belt. self serve. right before we checked out she wanted me to try on some Oakley sunglasses ($150-200 sunglasses mind you) in the locked counter. 7 employees (sales people) were literally standing within 4ft of us. 5 in a group talking at the counter and 2 on the other sides of us. we were looking at these glasses ... read more

Worst customer service ever! I was at check out and the lady was super rude. Don't recommend this place at all because this was not the first time. Never going there again recommend boot barn the sales people are way more respectful and nice.

One star because of the selection, and Cliff was helpful selecting boots and hats. We asked if they offered MILITARY DISCOUNT, and the reply was," Yes, but it's too late to apply it, because you've already been rung up, but we appreciate your service." This is bad business and not good for word-of-mouth referrals. We've informed the rest of our crew rolling into town to take their business elsewhere and we'll be informing our military community as well.

I took my hat in to get shaped. After looking for someone to help me for a good 10 minutes, the 1st sales associate to greet me took my hat and began. I quickly realized he didn't have a clue what he was doing. I left with my hat looking like a mess. It is a 20x resistol and not cheap by my standards. Still looking for someone that knows what they are doing and not attempting to learn on my dime.

I was a huge fan of Canender's until recently, I bought a pair of Ariat boots for my daughter's 25th birthday. They didn't even last 2 months before a seam let loose. They have had them for 3 months now without a word, so I called them for a status update and was told "it's normal wear and tear". I will be taking my future business to Teskeys and will never buy another pair of Ariats.

There are only two boot stores in Texas I've found that have my size 13EE in stock. Allens Boots in Round Rock (not Austin) and Sheplers in Austin. Cavenders in Amarillo and Dallas also had zero inventory.
